The Center, located in the historic Hallidie Building, is designed with sustainability, flexibility, accessibility, and innovation at its core. Serving as the foundational arm of AIA San Francisco, the Center welcomes everyone through its doors.
AIA San Francisco and the Center for Architecture + Design are at a pivotal moment, advancing the future of San Francisco. Our new capital campaign, Design the City, Build Our Future, invests in educational opportunities that inspire future architects, designers, engineers, planners, and civic leaders. Our goal is to raise $1.8 million to strengthen the Center's long-term sustainability while expanding its public impact for generations to come.
