About the Center

We are a gallery. A classroom. A gathering place. A forum for civic dialogue. A venue for lectures, films, exhibitions, workshops, and community events. It is where people discover how architecture and design shape everyday life.

The Center itself reflects these values. Designed with sustainability, flexibility, accessibility, and innovation at its core, the 10,000-square-foot space demonstrates how thoughtful design creates places that are welcoming, adaptable, and built to serve and influence 17,000+ community members since 2023. Serving as the foundational arm of AIA San Francisco, the Center welcomes everyone through its doors.

AIASF provides the expertise. The Center provides the experience. Together, we are the headquarters for the built environment in San Francisco.
