Board of Directors Nomination

2023 Boards of Directors

The Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating a public-focused dialogue on architecture, design, and the built environment in the San Francisco Bay Area. Established in 2005, the Center enhances public appreciation for architecture and design through exhibitions, lectures, tours, film series, and other programs.

The Center is seeking members interested in serving on the Board of Directors. We invite you to join us in looking at new ways to shape our future and the sustainability and health of our community in the built environment.

Board candidates will be asked to share a statement of interest that includes their experience with the Center, as a volunteer, committee member, or event attendee, and how it will inform their role as a board member for the Center, as well as experience with other nonprofit organizations, including other AIA local components.

Board Statements of Interest are due November 14.

For more information regarding the board roles and responsibilities, please contact Amy Ress, Deputy Director.
